The donation of Rabé to the Hospital del Emperador

Alfonso VI donated the town in 1085 to the Hospital del Emperador of Burgos, and in 1128 Alfonso VII transferred that hospital to the archbishopric. The village's name recalls the Roman roads that crossed its municipal district.
