The separation of Peguerinos from El Espinar

The place, resettled around 1297 by the community of Segovia, was constituted as a municipality of its own on separating from El Espinar. The provincial reorganisation of 1833 moved it from Segovia to Ávila, although it keeps links with the Segovian community.
