The granting of the town to don Álvaro de Luna

John II granted in 1445 the town to the constable don Álvaro de Luna, detaching it from the jurisdiction of Ávila. Within the same municipality, beside the Vettonian stone boars, the Hieronymites had kept their monastery since the 14th century.
