The Adolfo Suárez and the Transition Museum Monument · Cebreros, Burgohondo - El Tiemblo - Cebreros, Ávila The Adolfo Suárez and the Transition Museum (MAST) is a museum of contemporary history that pays tribute, from the president's home town of Cebreros (Ávila), to the politician and to the people who made the arrival of democracy in Spain possible, as well as to the historical process of the Transition itself. It was installed on the ruins of the first church of Cebreros, known as the Iglesia Vieja, built in the second half of the 14th century, after a thorough project of reconstruction and rehabilitation that made it possible to house the first museum dedicated to the history of the Spanish Transition. It opened to the public on 12 June 2009. Photo: Luis Rogelio HM (CC BY-SA 2.0) What to see and do in Cebreros
