Abbey of Our Lady of the Assumption

Monument · Burgohondo, Burgohondo - El Tiemblo - Cebreros, Ávila

Founded at the end of the 11th century by Augustinian canons and confirmed to the bishop of Ávila in 1178, it preserves Romanesque elements and a 16th-century Mudéjar coffered ceiling. The abbey was suppressed in 1819 and the church has been a monument since 1983.
