Hermitage of San Pedro Bautista

Monument · San Esteban del Valle, Arenas de San Pedro, Ávila

Raised in granite ashlar over the saint's birthplace, in the centre of the village, it was finished in 1682 with Neoclassical lines and a round-arched doorway. San Pedro Bautista died crucified in Nagasaki with the martyrs of Japan.
