The passing of Fresnedilla to the Alburquerque family

After the fall and execution of don Álvaro de Luna, the place passed into the hands of Beltrán de la Cueva, future duke of Alburquerque. In the middle of the 19th century it barely gathered 184 inhabitants and today it does not reach a hundred.
