The pillory of El Hornillo

Monument · El Hornillo, Arenas de San Pedro, Ávila

Three metres of stone with five drums and a Doric capital topped by four arms in a cross, symbol of the villa status granted in 1759. It stood beside the hermitage of San Marcos and was later moved to the riverbank, at the Puente Nuevo.
