The Justice Pillar of Paredes de Escalona

Eighteenth-century judicial pillory set on a flight of ashlar steps, with a square base and a short cylindrical shaft topped by a simple capital. On the pyramidal finial crowning the column an inscription dated 1793 survives. The whole, raised on its steps of dressed stone, is one of the few such pillories still standing in the Torrijos district.
