Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Lucillos

Parish church of the Assumption of Our Lady, in Lucillos (Torrijos, Toledo), with a simple brick tower of Mudéjar tradition. Inside it preserves a 16th-century altarpiece by an unknown author of the Toledan school, made up of three tiers: the first two divided into five unequal bays and the third into three. On the predella are the holy apostles and, at the centre, the Theological Virtues; on the second tier stands the image of Our Lady of the Assumption, surrounded by cherubs, and on the third, a central bay with Santiago Matamoros flanked by reliefs of the Evangelists.
