Former Station of Illán de Vacas-Cebolla

The old Illán de Vacas-Cebolla station (Torrijos, Toledo) entered service on 19 June 1876 with the opening of the railway section between Torrijos and Talavera de la Reina. It had a passenger building in neo-Mudéjar style, a goods dock, a well and cottages for the workers. In the early 1990s the few remaining structures were demolished owing to their ruinous state, and today only a railway staff's sentry box survives, next to the old Montearagón halt.
