House of the Quevedo Family Monument · Carmena, Torrijos, Toledo Image of Carmena, not of the place itself. Noble house dated 1538, rectangular in plan and two storeys high, built in Toledan masonry with tile decoration. On the ground floor four openings with wrought-iron grilles open onto the street, along with a large voussoired round-arched doorway, above which a tile marks the date of construction and the coat of arms of the Quevedo family. Inside, the entrance hall preserves another coat of arms and an 18th-century Marian image. Photo: Rodelar (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Carmena
