The church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Albarreal de Tajo, a town in the Torrijos district of Toledo, is a Gothic hall-church with a single nave, built in the 16th century using Toledan brick-and-stone masonry (aparejo toledano). The square-plan main chapel opens onto the nave through a triumphal arch, and a side chapel with a latticework screen is reached through a round arch. The nave is covered by a par-y-nudillo timber ceiling with double hip-rafters and ties, and outside, a side entrance porch and a two-bay bell-gable crowned with a semicircular pediment stand out.
