Nuño Gómez, a Town since 1655 Curiosity · Nuño Gómez, Sierra de San Vicente, Toledo Image of Nuño Gómez, not of the place itself. The town was a hamlet of Castillo de Bayuela until 1655, when it broke away from its former head town and obtained the title of villa, by a grant made by the Duke of Híjar. Nuño Gómez, in the Sierra de San Vicente district (Toledo), thus became an independent entity with its own government. Photo: Malopez 21 (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Nuño Gómez
