Patronal festival of Almendral de la Cañada in honour of the Virgen de la Antigua, patroness of the municipality, held every 8 September with a procession and popular events. The devotion has deep roots in the town: the parish church, dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Antigua, was built between the 17th and 19th centuries.
