Church of Santa María Magdalena de Chueca Monument · Chueca, Montes de Toledo, Toledo The church of Santa María Magdalena de Chueca (Montes de Toledo) is a building constructed between the 16th and 17th centuries in brick and rubble masonry, with ashlar of Toledo stonework in the upper sections of the tower. With a single nave, it has a main chapel and two side chapels in the arms of the transept, and preserves a coffered ceiling in the Mudéjar tradition that runs the length of the nave. At the entrance there is a granite baptismal font; above the door there used to be a raised choir loft, and a semicircular arch separates the nave from the presbytery.
