Church of Santa María Magdalena de Villamuelas

The church of Santa María Magdalena of Villamuelas is the municipality's parish temple, rectangular in plan and with a single nave, built with contributions from the local residents themselves, with the architect's name not preserved. It has two side doors below the choir, a baptismal chapel at the foot of the nave, and a chancel formed by a widening of the nave with a small apse crowned by a dome; it was renovated in 2004. Its archive, with documentation from the late 16th century onward, preserves sacramental registers of baptism, marriage and death, along with fabric, confraternity and souls' books.
