Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán de Valmojado Monument · Valmojado, La Sagra, Toledo Temple in Valmojado (Toledo) built between the late 15th and early 16th centuries, dedicated to Santo Domingo de Guzmán, patron of the town, on the hill where don Gonzalo Chacón, lord of Casarrubios, had previously erected a gallows. Of basilical plan, with three naves and a transept, it preserves old images of Nuestra Señora del Carmen and San Juan Bautista, the work of the Carmelite friar Joseph Ortiz Delgado in 1748. Its south door, called that of the Santísimo Cristo del Amparo, is the work of the Toledan sculptor Mariano Guerrero Corrales. Photo: Quinquefontes (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Valmojado
