Historic droving route that crosses the municipal area of Valmojado and that was essential for transhumance between the sierra and the pastures of the south. Its course attests to the old livestock pass and gateway that gave rise to the town itself, documented by remains of road infrastructure and by archaeological, epigraphic and toponymic references. A privilege of 1208 that mentions the place of Portillejo could be the first written allusion to this livestock pass located on the cañada.
