The grant to the bishop of Sigüenza

In the twelfth century Alfonso VIII granted the bishop of Sigüenza lands lying between the Jarama and the Tajo, in the present municipal district of Seseña. Dependence on a distant mitre shaped the organisation of the place throughout the Middle Ages.
