Hermitage of la Vera Cruz de Mocejón

Monument · Mocejón, La Sagra, Toledo

A hermitage probably dating from the 15th century, originally used as a Carmelite conventual church. It is dedicated to Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, the local patron saint, whose feast day is celebrated on 8 September. In the 1970s it underwent a renovation that opened a new main entrance at the foot of the building and added a new bell tower above it.
