Church of San Juan Bautista de Cobeja Monument · Cobeja, La Sagra, Toledo The church of San Juan Bautista de Cobeja (Toledo) preserves its brick Mudejar tower, dated 1788, with three tiers topped by a black slate spire and a lead finial; an inscription commemorates the priest Soriano, parish priest at that date. The original body of the temple, in poor condition, was demolished and rebuilt in 1974 in a modern architectural style, incorporating stained-glass windows dedicated to the Trinity and the Last Supper. A ribbed granite baptismal font, dated 1603, predating the reconstruction, is also preserved. Photo: Davas27 (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Cobeja
