Ruins of the Church of San Andrés Monument · Casarrubios del Monte, La Sagra, Toledo The ruins of the church of San Andrés, in Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo), belong to a building whose origin dates back to the 14th century and which was destroyed by a fire caused by lightning in 1825. Before its destruction it housed a large painting of the Martyrdom of San Andrés, a work by Francisco Ignacio Ruiz de la Iglesia, which was saved from the fire and is preserved today in the church of Santa María in the same town.
