Loranque Estate Monument · Bargas, La Sagra, Toledo Image of Bargas, not of the place itself. A farmhouse located on the outskirts of the town of Bargas, dating from the late 18th century and rebuilt in the early 20th with brick and rammed-earth (tapial) walls and an Arabic tile roof. It was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Spain's highest level of heritage protection) for its natural features, its historical and cultural origins, the preservation of its landscaped grounds and its traditional architecture. Today it operates as a winery protected under the Denominación de Origen Méntrida. Photo: J.C. Pantoja (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Bargas
