The church of Santa María de la Asunción, in Quero, in La Mancha de Toledo, is the parish church built around 1630, the main historic building in this small town of La Mancha. With austere lines and limestone walls typical of the Habsburg period to which its current structure belongs, it has a single nave, tall and wide. The site had already been sacred and devoted to this invocation since at least the 13th century, long before the building preserved today was raised.
