Algodor River and mountains of Mora Nature · Mora, La Mancha de Toledo, Toledo Image of Mora, not of the place itself. The municipal area of Mora, with mostly hilly terrain, is crossed by the Algodor river and borders to the south on the Finisterre reservoir. The Algodor rises at the Navajo lagoon, at an altitude of 822 metres, in Retuerta del Bullaque, within the Montes de Toledo, and runs for 102 kilometres through a basin of 1,250 km² before flowing into the Tagus near Aranjuez. The Finisterre reservoir, built in 1977 between the municipalities of Tembleque, Mora, Villanueva de Bogas and Turleque, holds 133 cubic hectometres and marks the southern boundary of the municipality.
