Settlement occupied since the Bronze Age, one of the most notable archaeological sites in the municipality of Villarejo de Montalbán. The site dates from the Middle Bronze Age and is located on a hill next to the Cedena river; ceramic remains and other archaeological materials typical of that period have been found there, attesting to human occupation of the site since prehistoric times.
