Image of La Estrella, not of the place itself.

The place name of La Estrella, in the comarca of La Jara (Toledo), is related to the Latin stela, referring to the funerary stelae found within the municipal boundary, which attest to a Roman-era settlement. At the top of the nearby sierra Ancha there is also preserved what appears to be an Iron Age hillfort.
