Pozos Nuevos is a site within the district of Valdeverdeja, in the Toledo district of La Campana de Oropesa, within the granite valley of the Tagus. It gathers several dozen wells, each with its stone washing trough carved from a single block, which supplied the town with water and were used for washing. The site is declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Spain's highest level of heritage protection) in the category of historic site, as a testimony to the traditional everyday life of the area.
