Bridge of el arroyo de Alcañizo Monument · Alcañizo, La Campana de Oropesa, Toledo Image of Alcañizo, not of the place itself. Seventeenth-century bridge over the Alcañizo stream, which gives its name to the municipality (Toledo) and crosses the village, one of its most characteristic heritage features. According to Madoz's dictionary (1845), it was a stone bridge with three arches and brick abutments, fourteen varas long and three wide, which carried the crossing of the stream that divided the village into two quarters and only carried water when it rained.
