Station of Yunquera de Henares Monument · Yunquera de Henares, La Campiña, Guadalajara The Yunquera de Henares station is a halt on the Madrid-Barcelona line, at kilometre point 68.5, between the stations of Fontanar and Maluque. It was opened on 5 October 1860 by the MZA company, with the opening of the Guadalajara-Jadraque section. After the nationalisation of the railway in 1941 it passed to RENFE; today Adif manages the infrastructure and Renfe Operadora provides the service since 2005. The single-storey passenger building shows on its main façade seven openings arranged in three arches, serving as entrances and windows, with a small roof covering part of the side platform. It has two platforms and five tracks, and offers Medium Distance services to Madrid, Guadalajara, Sigüenza, Zaragoza, Lérida and Barcelona, besides logistics functions.
