Historical documents record the existence, within the municipality of Quer (Guadalajara), of two hermitages now vanished, those of La Soledad and Santa María Magdalena. The most specific reference comes from Pascual Madoz's geographical dictionary, of 1849, which cites them alongside the fountains and poplar groves of the municipality, with no further details on when they were built or disappeared.
