The poplar groves of Quer Nature · Quer, La Campiña, Guadalajara Image of Quer, not of the place itself. The poplar groves of Quer are riverside stands of black poplar linked to the streams tributary to the Henares that cross the flat municipal area, in La Campiña (Guadalajara). Already in 1849 the Diccionario geográfico by Pascual Madoz recorded the existence of two black poplar groves within the municipality, beside a fountain of good water and the hermitages of La Soledad and Santa María Magdalena.
