Natural Monument of the Source of the Cuervo River

Nature · Vega del Codorno, Serranía Alta, Cuenca

Declared a natural monument in 1991, it protects 1,709 hectares around the spring that gushes from the rock at 1,470 metres on the San Felipe tableland. Five hundred metres from its source the water plunges over a great travertine cliff.
