Parish church combining Gothic and Renaissance elements, built during the great development experienced by Poyatos in the 16th century, driven by the bishop of Cuenca Miguel Muñoz, a native of the village. It stands on the town's central square, next to the town hall, and is one of the elements that led to Poyatos being declared a conjunto histórico (a protection designation for urban and monumental heritage), owing to its monumental richness.
