The Batanejo gorge is a little-known river canyon in the Manchuela Conquense (Casas de Benítez, Cuenca), related to the Júcar canyons. It remains virtually untouched by human hands and can only be travelled by water. At around 600 metres of altitude, it brings together much of the area's native flora and enjoys a singular, exclusive microclimate.
