The cultivation of osier willow in the vega of Villaconejos de Trabaque (La Alcarria Conquense, Cuenca) was for generations one of the economic mainstays of the village, today displaced by cereal crops. A photograph of the vega with osier plantations, dated to the 1980s, documents the survival of this crop up to those years.
