Parish church of Luciana, of simple design and deeply rooted in local tradition, dedicated to Santa María Egipcíaca, whose feast day is celebrated on 2 April. According to Pascual Madoz's Diccionario geográfico (1847), the parish then appeared as an annex of that of Abenójar, the town on which it administratively depended.
