The Ethnographic Museum of Horcajo de los Montes (Ciudad Real) displays the traditional building techniques of the district, with adobe and stone walls and roofs of rockrose and strawberry-tree branches, together with tools and utensils made of leather, cork, wood, rushes, wax and bone. Among its pieces, a 19th-century wine press built of oak wood from the lands of Cabañeros stands out, and the museum uses photographs and models to explain the process of making the traditional pitarra wine.
