The hermitage of Our Lady of Guadalupe, of recent construction, is situated about two kilometres from the town centre of Horcajo de los Montes. It is the destination of the pilgrimage that, on the second-to-last Saturday of August, climbs up to it to bring the image of the Virgin down to the parish church of the village. There it is carried in procession on 8 September, and on the following Saturday the festivities conclude with its return to the hermitage.
