Church of San Vicente Mártir Monument · Cózar, Campo de Montiel, Ciudad Real The church of San Vicente, in Cózar, dedicated to San Vicente the martyr, is a temple of the 15th and 16th centuries considered one of the finest in the Campo de Montiel. On 23 February 1983 it was declared a national historic-artistic monument, by royal decree published on 18 April of that same year in the Boletín Oficial del Estado, and it now holds the status of Bien de Interés Cultural (Spain's highest level of heritage protection). The historical accounts gathered in Pascual Madoz's Dictionary already highlighted its sacristy as the finest in the district. Photo: B25es (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Cózar
