Dance of the Souls of Albaladejo

Activity · Albaladejo, Campo de Montiel, Ciudad Real

Image of Albaladejo, not of the place itself.

Traditional dance from La Mancha, also called the function of souls, preserved in Albaladejo as one of the most characteristic folk manifestations of the Campo de Montiel. It consists of dressing a four-metre pole with eight ribbons, as many as the dancers taking part in it.
