The church of Saint John the Baptist of Pozo Cañada (Monte Ibérico-Corredor de Almansa, Albacete) is the parish dedicated to the town's patron saint, whose original building was erected in honour of Saint John of May. It holds a rustic, polychrome image of Saint John the Baptist, dated between the late 16th century and the mid-17th century. The parish separated from the church of Chinchilla de Monte-Aragón on 11 February 1787, the date since which Pozo Cañada has had its own ecclesiastical entity.
