The anniversary of Villavaliente's separation

The municipality of Villavaliente (La Manchuela, Albacete) commemorates every 13 December the anniversary of its separation from Jorquera, which took place on that same date in 1927. The event gave its name to a street in the town, and other streets recall figures who promoted independence, such as the lawyer Lozano, the governor Carril and the minister Aunós.
