A stretch of the Júcar river on whose right bank Valdeganga sits, about 80 metres above the level of its waters. The course breaks up the plain and gives rise to an area of orchards, ravines and rugged views, in contrast with the grain- and vine-growing plain that surrounds the village. On the irrigated lands near the riverbank cereals, vines, vegetables and fruit trees are grown, making use of the river's water in a region of contrasting landscapes between the plain and the river valley.
