Image of Casas de Juan Núñez, not of the place itself.

A royal warrant of that date authorized the town of Jorquera to exploit the dehesa of Cañadorro, where the cluster of houses of Casas de Juan Núñez already existed. It is the first written record of the place, which did not have its own municipal council until the nineteenth century.
