The church of San Pedro Apóstol de Casas de Juan Núñez (Albacete), from the 18th century, presides over the Plaza de Castilla-La Mancha and is the municipality's main architectural landmark. In the 19th-century geographical dictionary of Pascual Madoz, it appears listed as a parish under the invocation of San Pedro ad Víncula, served at the time by a parish priest and a sacristan appointed by the ordinary.
