A Dominican nun born in El Sauzal on 23 March 1643 and died on 15 February 1731, popularly known as "la Siervita". Her beatification process, opened in the 19th century and reopened in 1992, is still today at the Roman stage. Her incorrupt body is kept in the convent of Santa Catalina in La Laguna and is the object of widespread devotion in Tenerife.
