El Golfo y el Charco de los Clicos

A semicircular, green-toned lagoon inside a large crater open to the sea, formed by the natural welling-up of seawater; its colour comes from microscopic algae. It lies next to the village of El Golfo, on the coast of the Parque Natural de los Volcanes, a landscape produced by the 1824 eruptions.
