Santa Cruz de Grío honours San Blas from 3 to 5 February and holds its August festival in honour of San Roque and San Bartolomé. The area was conquered by Alfonso I el Batallador in 1120, and the village adopted its current name in 1900, having previously been called Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz de Tobed.
